OVERVIEW

Stewardship/Finance Ministry Team is challenged with the responsibility to ensure that the business of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is conducted in a fiscally responsible manner and we accomplish this objective by engaging in the following three (3) primary activities:

*   Conduct the annual Stewardship Campaign
*   Create and submit for Council approval, the annual Financial Plan
*   Work diligently with all other Ministry Teams to operate within our financial guidelines

The success of this team is totally dependent upon, not only, the cooperative efforts of all of its members, but as well, the cooperative efforts of all of our Ministry Teams.  As we "Gather, Equip and Send" the children of God who call St. Mark’s home, we must never and will never place money above faith and, as we discharge our responsibilities to this congregation, we will always take our questions as to how to do and what to do to God before making any decisions.
