The Worship Ministry Team responsibilities involve supporting and working with our church leaders, members of the music staff and numerous volunteers, in order to provide meaningful worship experiences for anyone who attends St. Mark's. Currently, we have several worship experiences on a weekly basis. In addition to these, we have the Dixieland Jazz Tent Service in the summer, Advent services and meals in December, and Lenten services with meals in the Spring just before Easter.
Grounded in vision and prayer, our goal is to explore the possibilities of ways to share the Gospel. We're all working and praying that people will walk away from each worship experience knowing they have been in the presence of God. This is why we gather together. It takes so many people to make our worship experience happen. Worship is definitely participatory. We have many volunteers who organize, schedule, and perform the duties of usher, greeter, acolyte, crucifer, communion worship assistant and scripture readers, along with many more (see list below). We are looking for as many people to participate as possible.
